Public-sector grant management

One operating model for grants, rebates and benefits.

Public programs carry more than an application form. They carry eligibility, evidence, review, authority, money, correspondence and public accountability. ProtoGrants keeps that operating model connected on Microsoft Power Platform.

01

The service problem

Applicants and program teams should not have to reconcile the system themselves.

When forms, attachments, decisions and payments travel through separate channels, applicants lose context and staff rebuild the record by hand.

A stronger service keeps the program guide, application, evidence, correspondence, decision and financial reference attached to the same case history.

02

Canadian delivery

Language, accessibility and data questions belong in the product decision.

Canadian public buyers may require English and French service, accessible digital journeys, clear privacy responsibilities and evidence about where data and operations reside.

ProtoGrants treats these as release evidence and program configuration questions. The requirement must be proven for the specific buyer and deployment rather than implied by the platform.

03

Power Platform

Use the Microsoft foundation without making the platform the whole story.

Dataverse, Power Pages and Power Platform provide governed records, identity options, workflow and Microsoft integration. Many grant solutions can make the same platform claim.

The differentiator is the operating model built on top: a recoverable applicant path, reconstructable human decisions and a procurement evidence pack tied to each release.

04

Product boundary

See working proof and prototype direction without confusing the two.

The current applicant demonstration creates a Dataverse Grant Application record at final submission. A reviewer surface reads record fields into a demonstration view.

Payment, reconciliation, program studio and post-award controls remain product direction. The site labels those surfaces accordingly.
